Dr. Martin is a DFW 2018 Mom-Approved Dentist!
Although Dr. Martin is a native of Louisiana, she is officially a proud Texan now! She was awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, which is the highest honor achievable by a pediatric dentist. Dr. Martin is a member of the American Academy of Laser Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, National Dental Association, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Furthermore, she is on staff at both Children’s Medical Center Dallas and Cook’s Children’s Medical Center where she is on-call to provide emergent care for pediatric patients after hours.
Dr. Martin takes every opportunity to give back to her community and to care for children. She volunteers regularly with Give Kids a Smile, Special Kids Olympics, and at her church daycare. Dr. Martin has traveled to both Ethiopia and Nicaragua for dental missionary work and to volunteer in orphanages.
She is a foodie who enjoys cooking, making healthy recipes, and exploring new restaurants. Dr. Martin also enjoys shopping and traveling, especially if it involves getting a new stamp on her passport!
